What is a que dog?

The Que Dog, short for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. dog, is a nickname given to members of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. The fraternity was founded in 1911 at Howard University and is one of the Divine Nine historically Black Greek letter organizations. The Que Dog is known for its distinct stepping and strolling routines, as well as its commitment to community service and social activism. Members of Omega Psi Phi often wear the colors purple and gold and the fraternity's symbol, the Omega man, to show their affiliation. The Que Dog is a symbol of strength, brotherhood, and dedication to uplifting the Black community.
